(Dhaka) 8^th February 2022 Tuesday: Three distinguished personalities Laila Hasan, Shibli Mohammad and Shamim Ara Nipa have recently joined Tagore University of Creative Arts (TUCA) as honorary teachers in dance department. It is to be noted TUCA is the third University of Bangladesh who has recently been authorised to open dance department by UGC.

Welcoming TUCA for giving her opportunity to be associated with to teach dance at higher studies, Laila Hasan expressed her gratitude.

Shibli Mohammad thought by opening dance department along with Drama, Fashion design and Music TUCA as a separate identity set out to herald a big way for creative study. He is also thankful and glad to be a part with.

“Ekushey Padak” winner Shamim Ara Nipa nourished a dream for carrying dance education to a higher form of stature. TUCA opens her such window. So she expressed her indebtedness to TUCA. To her it is a great news.

Noted, another icon in the World of music and former Chairman of Dance Department of Dhaka University Rezwana Choudhury Bannya is also the head of Dance Department of TUCA.
