Shilpa Chakma was a student of the first batch of the Department of Dance at Tagore University of Creative Arts. She died in a tragic road accident in Cox’s Bazar in August 2022. To keep her memory alive, Tagore University of Creative Arts has launched the ‘Shilpa Chakma Higher Education Scholarship’ to expand higher education opportunities for indigenous students.
